These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Jobgage ("Jobgage", "we", "us", "our") and govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. By using Jobgage you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

2. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may enable optional security features such as two-factor authentication, which we encourage you to use.

3. Role of Jobgage

Jobgage is a platform that connects job seekers, candidates, employers, and recruiters. We are not an employer, recruitment agency, or party to any employment relationship, offer, contract, or arrangement between users. We do not guarantee employment, hiring outcomes, the accuracy of listings, or the conduct of any user.

4. Job Seekers

  • Provide truthful, accurate information in your profile, resume, and applications.
  • Only apply for roles you are genuinely interested in and eligible for.
  • Do not impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, skills, or experience.

5. Employers and Recruiters

  • Post only genuine, lawful job opportunities with accurate details.
  • Do not post discriminatory, misleading, or fraudulent listings, or request fees from candidates.
  • Use candidate information only for legitimate recruitment purposes and in line with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not post false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful content, listings, or profiles.
  • Do not harass, spam, defame, or infringe the rights of others.
  • Do not scrape, data-mine, or access the platform by automated means without permission.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or its systems.
  • Do not upload malware or any content that violates intellectual-property or privacy rights.

7. Payments, Plans and Escrow

Certain features involve paid subscriptions, packages, or milestone-based escrow. Applicable fees, commissions, billing cycles, and payout terms are described at the point of purchase and in your account. Payments are processed by third-party gateways; by purchasing you also agree to their terms. Refunds, where available, are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. User Content and License

You retain ownership of the content you submit (profiles, resumes, job posts, messages, files). You grant Jobgage a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate and improve the Services. You are solely responsible for your content and must have the rights to share it.

9. Intellectual Property

The Jobgage platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and branding, is owned by Jobgage or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works except as permitted by these Terms.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may link to or integrate third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the Services. Certain provisions survive termination, including content licenses already granted, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobgage is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Services or any employment or business decisions made through the platform.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Jobgage harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
